Can you believe it’s almost summertime? My kids have just a week of school left, so I’ve been in full “planning summer mode”. In other words, scouring through to find the free things for my kiddos to do this summer. There are so many options, like bowling for free, the library, and even summer reading programs. One of my favorite things to do with my kids is to take them to see the AMC Summer Movies.
Each summer, movie theaters host summer movie times where you can pay just a couple dollars and watch an older movie in theaters. I know what you’re thinking, “why pay to go see a movie we’ve already seen?” I thought the same thing too. Then, summer set in, and re-watching a movie while eating popcorn in an air conditioned theater wasn’t so bad.
For just $4 per person, you get a kiddy pack and to see a movie. Not too shabby! Each Wednesday, there will be a new Summer Movie playing at 10 am. The dates vary. Most of the AMC Summer Movies start the first Wednesday in June, but some start a couple weeks later. I really think it depends on when your kids get out of school. I have listed the movies that will be playing below with a link to see which date each movie will be playing. Since they vary by areas, I didn’t want to list the dates. I do know that there will be no AMC Summer Movie on July 4.
