If your kids are heading back to school, it’s always fun to make their lunches “fun” if you pack their lunch. There are also some great items you can use in your kids’ lunch boxes that are practical and fun.

If you pack your kids' lunches, here are 9 items that are practical and will make your kids think you are super mom!

1. Banana Holder.

Keep their banana from getting bruised and keep their leftover banana from getting mushed all in their lunch box with this banana holder. As a bonus, you can even put grapes or another small fruit in this container if they get tired of bananas.

2. Snack Attack Holder & Dip Set.

Apples and Peanut Butter were always one of my favorite snacks, and my youngest requests it frequently. Now, it’s easier than ever to pack apples with peanut butter, celery with hummus, or carrots with ranch.

3. Lego Fork, Spoon, Knife Set.

This is sure to make your kiddo eat their lunch! Plus they snap together to make it easier to keep up with.

4. Reusable Lunch Box Containers.

If you’re packing sandwiches, you don’t want them squished. Make sure you have some lunch containers to pack sandwiches, salads, fruit, and more. This set comes with a couple different sizes and each container has a built in ice pack in it! We have the sandwich ones like this and it keeps the sandwich cold without the heavy ice pack squishing the chips.

5. Thermos FUNtainer Straw Bottle.

The Thermos FUNtainer Straw Bottles are one of my favorite things! I can pack my girls a drink, and it stays cold in their Thermos bottle all day long. Plus, these things hold up and are easy for even little hands to open up their drink by themselves. (No more juice boxes!) You can get these in a variety of characters or even just plain colored ones.

6. Sandwich Cutters.

Make their sandwiches into fun shapes so they will be more excited to eat their lunch. What is it with fun shapes that make kids want to eat anyways? This set comes with seven different cutters to make fun shapes or animals: dolphin, butterfly, dinosaur, elephant, heart, puzzle, and star. You could use a different one every day of the week!

7. Hand Sanitizer.

Make sure your kids wash their hands before they eat lunch. Grab a couple of these small hand sanitizers with the jelly wrap carriers to easily attach it to your child’s lunchbox or backpack. If there isn’t a place to attach one on their lunchbox, you can opt for the individual hand sanitizing wipes instead and place one inside their lunchbox each day.

8. Ice Packs

You need to keep their lunch cold, so put a fun ice pack in their lunch box. Plus, I’m sure they won’t lose these.

9. Name Labels.

With these cute things to make their lunch fun, you’re going to want to make sure their name is on everything. I, personally, use Mabel’s Labels and LOVE them! They are dishwasher safe and have held up better than my kids’ lunchboxes!

This items will all save you money in the long run. It will save you from beat-up and bruised fruit you have to throw away, from losing lunch containers, from doctor’s trips from getting sick, and many other small costs that can add up!
