I recently received a “Boogie Pack” from Boogie Wipes to review. I must say that it came at a PERFECT time! My youngest, Landrye, is 10 months old and had a runny nose, head congestion, and a cough. No mom likes having a sick child; however, I have found Boogie Wipes products to be helpful, affordable, and effective when treating a child with cold/sinus/allergies.

Picture this: Your child has a snotty nose. You take a tissue to wipe the aforementioned snotty nose, your child fusses, screams, cries, pulls away and fights you as you’re attempting to clean his or her nose. You end up having to distract your child or hold them down while finally succeeding at wiping away the snot. Then you feel it; the tissue is so thin that you end up with snot all over your hand!! Then you look and you missed some on your child’s face. Not only that, but now his/her red nose is even redder from irritation. Gross right?! Yes, it’s happened to me, and I know I can’t be the only one either.

Now picture this: You see your child with a runny, snotty nose. So, you take out a package of Boogie wipes, which come in Fresh Scent, Grape Scent, and Unscented. You go to wipe your child’s nose, and they resist just a little at first, then your child feels how soft they are and that is actually isn’t hurting when mom is wiping his/her nose!! Your child actually lets you wipe his/her nose without a screaming tantrum. Then you look at your child’s face and his/her little red nose isn’t redder from irritation, you wiped away all the snot, AND it’s not all over your hand. Can this really happen in the “real world” or parenting?! Yes, it can, with Boogie Wipes!

Another perk of Boogie Wipes that I absolutely LOVE is there is saline in the wipes! This means, less saline nose drops in an attempt to clear up the snotty nose. Not only do Boogie Wipes clean without irritation, smell good, and are absorbent, they actually put saline back in and around the nose to help clear up the snotty nose! As if that is not good enough, Boogie Wipes come with reward points. Every pack comes with a special code to type in at Boogie Wipes’ site to receive points towards items. Boogie Wipes are a Win/Win in my book! In fact, I almost always have a pack in Landrye’s diaper bag.

When Landrye has a cold and/or runny nose that doesn’t clear up on it’s own within a day or so, I normally end up having to give her nose drops or saline nose drops/spray to help combat it. I absolutely dread giving nose drops to either of my girls. I really do, and in fact, normally that is one task I let my husband handle ???? I’m sure I’m not the only mama who does this either. I just don’t like having to hold them down and fight them to give it to them.

Well, part of the “Boogie Pack” was Boogie Mist. At first I read the bottle: “Grape Scent. . . Gentle Saline Mist for Stuffy Noses”. Knowing that Boogie Wipes also has saline in them and they are gentle, I figured Boogie Mist would work pretty well. My husband saw it, and asked me: “Do you want me to use it?” I said, “No. I think I’m going to try this. I don’t think Landrye will fight me on this kind of nose spray.” He laughed at me, and said, “OK, I offered. You have fun with that.” (He knows I hate administering nose drops.)

The next day when it was time for nose drops, I took out the Boogie Mist. I followed the directions on the bottle and shook it up first. I then smelled it and it did smell like grape. ???? I used the nose spray on Landrye. She just looked at me funny because it was a mist and wasn’t like the normal drops we give her. She didn’t push the bottle of nose spray away like she normally does, nor did she fuss. She actually smiled at me afterwards, and laughed. She was a very happy baby with the Boogie Mist. Likewise, I was a happy mama to finally have a pleasant solution to nose drops. I will no longer use the other brand of saline nose drops I was using. From now on, I will be using Boogie Mist!

How would you like to win your own “Boogie Pack” for next time your little one has a stuffy nose?? Boogie Wipes is graciously giving away a Boogie Mist in either Fresh or Grape Scent, and a 10-pack of BOTH Fresh and Grape Boogie Wipes!
