One of the questions I get asked the most is: “Where do you find coupons at?” So, I thought I would write up a post to give you thirteen different places to find coupons.
You can find coupons almost anywhere, which is fantastic! Of course the Sunday Paper is one of the best places to get coupons; however, it’s not the only place.
1.) Sunday Paper- Not just any Sunday paper either. Make sure you buy the paper of the next biggest city a store in your town carries. For example, I don’t live in Atlanta, but I buy the Atlanta Journal EVERY Sunday from Publix. Compared to my town’s newspaper, the Atlanta Journal’s coupon inserts are THREE times as big! It pays to do a little research and find the bigger paper.
2.) You can order coupon inserts in bulk, or individually. If you have a couple friends who want to buy some coupons, go in with them and split the cost. You may be thinking, “PAYING for coupons to ‘save’ money?!?” Yes, you do. To me, it’s no different than buying the Sunday paper to get coupons; however, it’s cheaper to buy inserts! For example, the Atlanta Journal is $3, and only one of each insert for that week is inside. When I bought inserts last week, I paid $11.60 for 15 sets! If you divide it out, it is $0.77 per insert. Ordering inserts is WAY cheaper than buying 3-4 Sunday papers. There are quite a few places who sell inserts.{Klip2Save, The Coupon Clippers, & Coupons by Dede}
3.) Sign up for the “baby club” through Publix. You receive exclusive coupons for more than just baby products every 2-3 months. These are store coupons and can be combined with manufacture coupons to get an even better deal.
4.) Sign up for the “baby club” through Winn-Dixie. You receive monthly coupons from Winn-Dixie for meat, cheese, diapers, crackers, wipes, and other items.
5.) You can get coupons from Target online. They are printable coupons and can be used in the store. MOST of these are store coupons and can be combined with a manufacture coupon for an even better deal.
6.) Text “OFFERS” TO 827438 (TARGET) to receive mobile coupons from Target. You can use these coupons in the store by pulling them up on your smart phone and showing to the cashier. The cashier will “scan” the barcode on these offers to redeem them.
7.) Online coupon sources put out new printable coupons just about every day. You can see the printable coupons here, here, here, and here. Most of these sites post new coupons every Monday morning or at the beginning of a new month. You can also go to a manufacture’s website and click on the “offers” or “coupons” tab at the top of the page.
8.) You can see which coupons are available for which product here. You can just type in the name of a product, and you can see if there is a coupon available and how to get to it.
9.) Check the front of the grocery store. Publix has their Grocery (green) and Health and Beauty (Purple) flyers at the front of the store with in store coupons. If you don’t see them, check with customer service and they can point you in the right direction.
10.) Check to see if there is any on a product you are about to buy. Oftentimes, manufactures stick “peelies” with coupons on the front of packages.
11.) If you have a favorite product or manufacture but rarely see coupons for that item, write the company. Here is a list a friend of mine put together after she sat down and wrote companies. She kept track of which companies sent coupons and/or samples back to her. See the updated list here.
12.) With the way technology has advanced in the past few years, it’s no surprise that there are now mobile apps with coupons/rebates. Some of my favorites are Ibotta, Checkout 51, and Snap.
13.) If you subscribe to magazines, oftentimes there are coupons inside for different products within the genre of magazine you ordered. For example, if you flip through a hunting magazine, you will probably find coupons to Bass Pro, Gander Mountain, or other sporting goods stores. If you subscribe to a family/parenting magazine, you will probably receive coupons for household items and kids clothing stores. The best magazine to find coupons in is All You.
