I’m Megan and started Frugal Finds During Naptime (officially) in January 2014. My husband and I have been married for seven years and live in Southeast Alabama. I graduated college with my Bachelor’s in English two weeks before our first daughter was born in December 2009. Our second daughter was born in 2013 and I quit the full-time workforce to stay at home with our girls full time. Soon after I started staying home with the girls, I tried my hand at using coupons to save us money. It became an outlet for me. I enjoyed it and was pretty good at it.
I was never able to use my Bachelor’s degree in the workforce and it was a source of resentment. I was aggravated and frustrated that God had led me to get a Bachelor’s in English, only to never find a job to use it. Towards the end of 2013, God led me towards starting this blog/site. I finally obeyed and with the help of my wonderful husband (who is my own tech guy), he helped me set up and launch Frugal Finds During Naptime!
I am a stay-at-home mom with a Bachelor’s in English and a passion for saving money. I combined my love of writing and enthusiasm for couponing to bring you the best deals each week! Whether you’re a mom who works inside or outside the home, you stay busy working, taking care of kids, cooking, grocery shopping, and everything else motherhood entails. If you’re anything like I was, you want to find the best deals and want to save money on your grocery bill. Oftentimes, that can be overwhelming and you may not know where to begin. I can teach you how to get the most for your money and how to successfully coupon. I will not post all of the coupon match-ups, but I will post all of the best deals I find right here. I will also post frugal finds, tips, and ideas on how to save you and your family money. I also write different tips and ideas to help you as a mother, wife, and/or woman to enjoy life and deepen your relationships with those around you. I LOVE DIY and crafty projects, so I often post different crafts and ideas I have done with instructions on how to do it yourself.
