Here in South Alabama, it is already in the 80’s and feels like summer time, and it’s not even Memorial Day yet! My girls LOVE ice cream, but I wanted to find something that they could help me make and have fun with it (not that making Kool-Aid Popsicles aren’t fun). I had made a yogurt sprinkle dip for the Gerber Lil’ Beanies Picnic I hosted and it was a hit! So, I thought that changing the recipe up a little and freezing them would be equally delicious. These Frozen Yogurt Pop Bites are so yummy and refreshing!
The ingredients are simple, and you probably have just about everything you need for it on hand: yogurt, Funfetti cake mix, sprinkles, a silicone ice cub tray, and some of the ice cream taster spoons. I had everything on hand already except for the ice cream taster spoons, which you could probably get by with cutting popsicle sticks in half (I didn’t try it). Just a warning, making these Frozen Yogurt Pop Bites may result in bumping you up to “coolest mom ever” status. 😉
Ingredients
- 1 Cup strawberry yogurt (or flavor of choice)
- 1/4 Cup Funfetti cake mix
- 2 Tablespoons sprinkles
Instructions
- In a small bowl mix together your yogurt and cake mix
- Mix in 1 tablespoon of sprinkles
- Scoop your yogurt into your silicone ice cube molds and place a small pop stick in
